Mission Statement
At CMLIE, our mission is to advance effective and comprehensive music literacy in education through a dedicated commitment to innovation, research, and tailored programs. We aim to achieve this by:
Creating Tailored Music Literacy Interdisciplinary Cognition (IDC) Programs: We specialize in crafting newly developed or customized music literacy programs designed for various educational stages, including PreK-Grade 2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, High School-Young Adults, Mature Adults, and Special Education students. Our programs seamlessly integrate music education with other disciplines to enhance cognitive development.
Enabling Intensive Teacher Effectiveness Training: We provide educators with the necessary tools, materials, and mentorship for intensive and ongoing teacher training. Our goal is to empower educators to deliver music literacy education effectively and confidently, promoting holistic student development.
Data-Driven Research and Evaluation: We are committed to research, employing data-driven methodologies to assess and enhance program integrity, teacher effectiveness, and student performance. Our research focuses on measuring the impact of our programs IDC-based musical literacy interdisciplinary cognition, including language, math, social-emotional skills, kinesthetic abilities, and arts development.
Offering Comprehensive Program Building and Evaluation Services: Our services encompass a range of research elements, including research design, standardized and customized testing, teacher effectiveness ratings, and measures of student music literacy-based interdisciplinary cognition. Through these evaluations, we aim to continually refine and improve our programs to better serve students and educators.
By uniting innovation, research, and education, CMLIE strives to revolutionize arts education and foster a generation of well-rounded individuals equipped with the cognitive, emotional, and artistic skills for success in an ever-evolving world.
